Over the next 10 days, Max Allegri's abilities as a master manager and tactician will be tested severely. If begins tonight at San Paolo where an undermanned Juve takes on frontrunning Napoli.

Higuain maybe forced to start only days after being operated on. Mandzu and Howenes are no-gos along with Lich. Neither Cuadrado or Bern are likely to be at full strength.

Suddenly, Juve's depth is being tested just as this crucial stretch begins. Will tonight's match decide the Scudetto? No, Will a Juve make an uphill battle steeper? Absolutely.

If there was ever a time for Allegri to play to his own strengths it's now. Emerging from the next 10 days no farther than 4 points off the lead and having advanced in the CL must be considered the goal.

While playing for a tie tonight could prove disasterous the result would be fine for Juve. Advancing on Tuesday is an absolute must. While Juve may get some help from Barca, it has to consider the match in Greece a must-win. Next week Inter invades Torino in another crucial match. As little as a tie tonight and a win at home would keep Juve right in the hunt for its seventh Scudetto.

As frenetic as Allegri acts on the sidelines, at Juve he has always projected a deep understanding of the larger picture. He has been a master at tweaking lineups and influencng outcomes with key substitions as well as tactical switches within matches. While his squad rotation's have frustrated many fans, they have served the club well.

If Juve is to stay in the iddle of the Scudetto hunt and advance in CL, the manager will have to be at his best. He has said that matches like tonight's in Napoli are decided by the details. True enough, but the decisions he makes over the net 10 days will be crucial to Juve's success. Let's see if he's up to this major challenge. Juve's season may depend on it.
